This mosaic has some exceptional pieces of wood, including the unique sky. The Black Limba used in this is amazing with some incredible grain colors, the center mounrain is made with one of our favorites, Morado (Bolivian Rosewood) and the further most mountain is made with some of the most extroadinary pieces of Myrtle we've worked with. The Myrtle in these mountains has some super interesting worm holes in it which gives it some awesome texture. The sky is made the one of the most uncommon pieces of plywood we've found which has the incredible grey streaks, known as beetle kill pine, we left the large knot in the sky to represent the sun. It has a handmade frame made from Mahogany.
