Exotic Wood Mountain Lake Series
These are an absolutely beautiful set of our Exotic Wood Mountain Mosaics with the addition of the element of water. They each feature our own method to create the skies, different exotic woods for the mountains and “land”,
We do a lot of sanding to smooth out any imperfections in the wood but we do not do any coloring to the wood. Each piece is naturally colored and featured as shown.
The water feature is burned wood that has then been stained to create the effect of ripples and water.
Each of the woods described are from left to right.
The top left mountain is made with Sycamore, Cherry, Curly Maple, and the “land” is made with Incense Cedar. It has a Black Walnut Frame and it measures 17.5” x 17.5”.
The bottom left mountain is made with Burned Douglas fir, Wenge, Mahogany, and the “land” is made with burned and stained pieces of wood. It has a Sycamore frame and it measures 17.5” x 17.5”.
The Top right mountain is made with Sycamore, Incense Cedar, Cherry and the “land” is made with Beetle Kill Pine. It has a Sycamore Frame and it measures 17.5” x 17.5”.
The bottom right mountain is made with Myrtle, Morado (Bolivian Rosewood), Purple Heart and the “land” is also made with Morado. It has a Sapele Frame and it measures 14.5” x 14.5”.
These are all ready to hang and would make an amazing art addition to any room.
